Between who we are and who we want to be is perhaps
one of life’s greatest journeys to take.
We look up to Heroes — in admiration and awe.
Our mind tells us — they can do it, but we can’t.
Because they are made of different matter and mind.
Hence, the Hero always remains a mythic figure.
A human God that we end up worshipping.
In the shadow of whom, we remain small and incomplete.
Yet, if we ask, “What heroic values do I admire in others?”
And then ask, “ How might I make those values mine?”
Inch by inch, day by day, habit by habit…
We start becoming the heroes we admire in others.
Hero can be an object of worship.
Hero can also be a verb. A process of becoming.
Wisdom is –
The journey to becoming I: My Hero.
